Greenhouse Yoga asked me to help clean up the business’ website design and CSS.
The static website had been created using Twitter Bootstrap, but as the process evolved, we realized they would benefit from using WordPress as a CMS. By doing so, the site owner would be better able to manage the day-to-day site content.
I used the Twitter Bootstrap styles to create a custom theme for Greenhouse Yoga, but in the process of developing the theme, we made some adjustments to the design to make it responsive and simplify the CSS. We also transitioned the Twitter Boostrap CSS to v3.x, which has improved responsive styles.
I added a Nivo slider to the home page and rearranged the call-to-action to make it more visible.
I also pulled the site owner’s blog from Tumblr onto the WordPress site so that management would be simplified.
